In Loving Memory of Raul H. Lara 1933 – 2025 Raul H. Lara, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Born in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico Raul’s journey was marked by resilience, love, and a deep passion for life. At the age of 20, Raul courageously immigrated to the United States, embracing new opportunities and building a life grounded in family and hard work. In 1954, he married his beloved wife Ofilia, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Raul was a man of simple joys and deep passions. He loved tending to his garden, nurturing the earth and water trees with care, reflecting his patient and nurturing spirit. Travel was another passion that broadened his horizons and enriched his stories, inspiring those around him to explore the world with curiosity. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Raul and Yolanda, as well as five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life. His family was his greatest accomplishment, and his legacy lives on through their love and memories. Raul’s life was a testament to perseverance, kindness, and the beauty of growth—both in the garden and in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered. En memoria con amor de Raúl H. Lara 1933 - 2025 Raúl H. Lara, un esposo devoto, un padre amoroso, un abuelo orgulloso y un querido bisabuelo, falleció pacíficamente a la edad de 92 años. Nacido en Juchipila,Zacatecas, México, la immigracion de Raúl estuvo marcado por la resiliencia, el amor y una profunda pasión por la vida. A la edad de 20 años, Raúl emigró valientemente a los Estados Unidos, abrazando nuevas oportunidades y construyendo una vida basada en la familia y el trabajo duro. En 1954, se casó con su amada esposa Ofilia, con quien compartió toda una vida de amor y asociación. Raúl era un hombre de alegrías simples y pasiones profundas. Le encantaba cuidar su jardín, nutrir la tierra y regar los árboles con cuidado, reflejando su espíritu paciente y nutritivo. Viajar era otra pasión que ampliaba sus horizontes y enriquecía sus historias, inspirando a quienes lo rodeaban a explorar el mundo con curiosidad.
