DOB 03/14/1949 DOD 05/20/2026 Written and provided by family. Bradley Weber Kent, 77, of Othello, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Walla Walla, Washington, surrounded by his loving family. Brad was born on March 14, 1949, in St. Ignatius, Montana, to Golden Clark Kent and Amy Verena Weber Kent. He is the fifth of six children, growing up with two older sisters and three brothers. Brad attended school in Othello, where he was active in many activities and athletics. He enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and church softball, participated in Future Farmers of America, student council, and played alto saxophone in both high school and college. His love for music, sports, and community remained with him throughout his life. A devoted and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brad dedicated his life to serving others and strengthening his faith. Following high school graduation, he attended Brigham Young University and then honorably served a mission for his church in Brazil, an experience that deeply shaped his life and testimony. In 1971, Brad married his sweetheart, LaRee Garner. Together they built a loving home and were blessed with three daughters: ChaRae, Cheralee, and Chelsea. Brad is a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend to all who knew him. His kindness, steady example, and generous heart left a lasting impression on countless lives. Brad was deeply committed to serving his community and giving back to others. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in the Lions Clubs International, Rotary International, the Cemetary Board and the Othello Chamber of Commerce. Through these organizations, he built lasting friendships, supported countless community projects, and worked tirelessly to help Othello grow and thrive. His dedication to service reflected his generous spirit, strong work ethic, and genuine care for the people around him. Brad is lovingly remembered by his wife, LaRee Garner Kent; daughters ChaRae (Jacob) Montgomery, Cheralee (Josh) Walters, and Chelsea (BJ) Garza; and his seven cherished grandchildren: Lexie and Michael Stone, Alivia Walters, Jackson Walters, Levi Walters, Kyla Garza, and Kenzie Garza. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry (EvaLu) Kent and Blair (Diana) Kent. Brad is remembered for his goodness, deep faith in the Lord, unwavering love for family, and his quiet service to others. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many community members whose lives he touched. A burial service will be held on May 29, 2026 @ 10am @ Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens, 1915 Cemetary Rd, Othello, Washington 99344. A Celebration of Life for Brad, open to all family and friends, will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at 1200 East Rainier Street, Othello, Washington 99344.
