Lynette Marie Love
April 10, 1975 – June 14, 2025
Lynette Marie Love, 50, of Othello, Washington, passed away on June 14, 2025.
Born and raised in Othello, Lynette was the daughter of Betty and Roy Love Sr. She graduated from Othello High School in 1993, where she proudly served as captain of the drill team. Even then, she stood out as a natural leader and mentor, known for organizing with confidence and lifting up those around her. She later earned her bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University. In 2019, she served as Vice Chair of the Adams County Democratic Party, reflecting her lifelong passion for civic involvement and community advocacy.
Lynette’s greatest joy in life was being a mother to her beloved son, Camden. She shared deep, meaningful bonds with her siblings: Birdie Fought (husband Tim) and their children, Charlotte and Dustin (wife Ashley); Betty Jean Love and her children, Marit and Cody; and Roy Jr., lovingly known as Bubba, and his children, Giovanni, Hope, and Faith. She was also a proud great-aunt to Luke Jr., Arya, and Owen, who brought her endless joy and laughter. As well as her dog Nova Lee, who was always by her side and a source of comfort and companionship.
She will be remembered for her generous spirit, bold personality, and unwavering love for her family. She was a natural encourager; whether leading a team, mentoring a friend, or cheering someone on from the sidelines, Lynette showed up fully and with heart. A passionate traveler, she embraced every adventure with excitement and laughter.
Her legacy lives on in the fierce love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the courage she inspired in those around her. Whether standing up for what she believed in or standing by the people she loved, Lynette made a lasting impact with her presence, purpose, and passion.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Doris and Karl Kiichle, and Virdia and Jessie Love.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27th, at the Nazarene Church in Othello, followed by a reception at The Eagles. All who knew and loved Lynette are invited to attend and honor her memory.
