Obituary of Charles Jack Goodrich

Charles Jack Goodrich returned home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ and son Duane on Mar 19, 2015, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born Dec 15, 1930 to Forrest and Ethel Goodrich in Vernal, UT. On June 25th 1952 he married his sweetheart, Ellen Gilbert, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together with his beautiful bride they would welcome twelve children into their home. Dad’s passions during his lifetime were coming to know his Savior Jesus Christ, sharing the gospel, being with his family and working on the farm. Serving others was who he was; always willing to help and ease other’s burdens. His parents, his brothers and sisters and son Duane Goodrich preceded him in death. He is survived by his eternal companion Ellen Goodrich, and children, LeAndrew Goodrich(Pamela), Laura Ferguson(Dean), Renae Westerbur(Charlie), Janet Shirts(Robert), Norene Anderson(Evan), Callis Goodrich(Jill), Marion Goodrich(Dawn), Delbert Goodrich(Mary), Roselee Simkins(Kelly), JoAnn Shirley(Eric) Wayne Goodrich(Jody), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday March 24th at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1200 E. Rainier St. Othello, WA 99344. Visitors were welcome to come and visit the family from 8:30 – 9:45 am Tuesday March 24th. Funeral services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Chapel.
