Obituary of Kristin Rogers

Kristin L. Rogers, 47 of Othello Passed away June 26, 2015 at Central Washington hospital in Wenatchee. She was born in Seattle Washington on May 23, 1968. The day Janet went to the hospital she had to take a taxi. When the taxi driver found out that a baby was possibly on the way, he took them both for a very fast drive to West Seattle General Hospital. It was funny because the driver wouldn’t let Janet get out of the cab when they arrived at the hospital; she had to wait for a wheel chair and assistance. During her life she raised her two children Krystle-Rose Peck and Thailer Murison. Kristin was a waitress for various establishments and later owned and operated her own restaurant in Arkansas. The first time Herb and Janet visited her at the restaurant was the first meal Kris had every cooked for her Mom. When Kris was younger it was like pulling teeth to get her to cook at home. She liked people and took teasing well. She was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Othello. She had a passion for cross stitching, and making her own customized jewelry. Kristin loved spending time with her grand babies and helping people. She is survived by her Mother Janet (Herb) Ward of Othello, her brother Robert Rogers, Othello, two children Krystle-Rose Peck of Moses Lake and Thailer (Angela) Murison of Spokane. She also leaves two grandchildren Alexis-Kay and LeeLand of Moses Lake, to cherish her loving memory. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Rogers. Funeral Arrangements will be held at 11:00 am, July 11th 2015 at The Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Othello. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, Phone (800) 342-2383.
