Obituary of Lillian Reichter
Lillian Marie (Womer) Reichter of Othello passed away November 29, 2015. Lillian was born in Aberdeen, WA on April 12, 1925 to John Wesley Womer and Ella (Neeley) Womer. After finishing High School in Tillamook, OR she me John Magoteaux at the Naval Blip Station and was married in 1943. They later moved to Ephrata and then they came to Othello in 1964 to open Magoteaux’s Men Store. After a divorce, she moved back to Aberdeen and then married Gene Reichter. They both loved to vacation in Hawaii, taking several cruises along the way. Lillian was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Othello Presbyterian Church. She loved being with her children and grandchildren, was a great interior decorator and enjoyed knitting, needle work and crafts. She is survived by: Sharon (Magoteaux) Hampton of Othello, WA, John (Patty) Magoteaux of Curlew, WA, Jim (Jan) Magoteaux of Umatilla, OR, stepchildren: Barbara (Jim) Godfrey of Olympia, WA, Ron Reichter of Seattle, WA, grandchildren: Veronica (Gabe) Long of Olympia, WA, Erica Hampton of Henderson, NV, Chelsey Magoteaux of Umatilla, OR, Cody Godfrey of Umatilla, OR, step-grandchildren: Tyler Godfrey of Olympia, WA, and Janelle (Ash) Henry of Sausalito, CA. She had seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Reichter, and son, Allan Magoteaux. Lillian will be greatly missed by her family, friends at her church, and the Coventry House. Memorial services were held Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at the Presbyterian Church.
