Obituary of Pedro Almaguer

Pedro Almaguer, 91, of Othello, Washington, passed away February 15, 2016 at Avalon Care Center. He was born in Cuarenta, Jalisco, Mexico on April 24, 1924 to parents, Miguel and Tomasa Almaguer. Pedro was raised in Mexico. He did a lot of traveling as a young man, but eventually settled in Othello in 1969. He was married to Beatrice Salazar Almaguer, and together they had 8 children, 7 sons, and 1 daughter. Pedro was a hardworking and loving family man. He was also a faithful and dedicated member of the Catholic Church. He will be missed. He was survived by his children: Pedro Jr (Oxana) Almaguer of San Antonio, Texas, Louie (Rosa) Almaguer of Othello, Washington, Jimmy Almaguer of Othello, Washington, Miguel (Tina) Almaguer of Othello, Washington, Ralph (Joyce) Almaguer of San Antonio, Texas, David (Irene) Almaguer of Kennewick, Washington, Jay Almaguer of Grandview, Washington, and Cindy Almaguer of Othello, Washington. Pedro also leaves 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, to cherish his loving memory. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three grandchildren: Nicholas, Brittney, and Louie Jr, and his half-sisters, Maria and Virginia. A visitation will held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a rosary at 6:00 pm, Monday, February 22, 2016, at Stevens Funeral Chapel.
