Obituary of Alejandro Castaneda
Alejandro “Alex” Castaneda, age 20, of Othello, Washington, passed away May 28, 2016, in a motor vehicle accident. Alejandro’s 4 month old daughter Aleysa Castaneda joins him in the Lord’s care. Alex was born in Jaloxtoc, Morelos, Mexico on November 27, 1995. He graduated from Othello High School, class of 2015. He was working as a field laborer to support his family. He had a passion for boxing, fishing, soccer, and music, and spending time with his parents. He was survived by his parents, Cristino and Janet Castaneda, and his two brothers, Gerardo and Jonathan Castaneda of Othello, Washington. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, concluding with a rosary which starts at 6:00 pm, June 7, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, June 8, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Othello, Washington.
