Obituary of Connie Gonzalez

Connie Gonzalez, age 95, of Othello, Washington, passed away May 14, 2017 at Avalon Care Center.  She was born in Bishop, Texas on July 4, 1921 to parents, Victor and Paula De Leon.  She grew up with 10 siblings.  She was married to Felix Silva in 1946.  They enjoyed 24 years of marriage until he passed away on December 19, 1970.  She married Raul Gonzalez in 1980.  They shared 15 years, until he passed in 1995.  Connie work as a Custodian for Chef Reddy from 1964 to 1985.  She was a member of the Bethal Spanish Assembly of God Church, and had a passion for crocheting, gardening, and her church, but her primary passion in life was for her family.   She will be dearly missed.  She was survived by her children: Rosemary (Bob) Dempsay, Ray (Mara) Silva, Teri (Roger) Cox, Richard (Linda) Silva, Paulie (Steve) McCabe, and Robert (Cathy) Silva.  Connie also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Paula Moroles, to cherish her loving memory.  Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Bethal Spanish Assembly of God Church, with burial to follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens.  To leave an online condolence to the family, please visit our website at www.stevensfc.com.
