Obituary of Rogelio Nava

Rogelio Nava Salgado falleció el 14 de diciembre de 2020 rodeado de su familia y amigos cercanos. Nació el 19 de marzo de 1968 en Guerrero México. Fue el segundo hijo de tres hijos de Isac Nava y Kirina Salgado+. Deja a su compañera de vida, 7 hijos y 7 nietos. Rogelio conoció a Angélica Velazco en marzo de 1990. Después de 15 días de noviazgo decidieron vivir juntos. Tuvieron 4 hijos, un hijo y 3 hermosas hijas. Se mudaron a este país el 17 de junio de 1996. Llegaron a Othello el 1 de marzo de 1997 sin absolutamente nada más que una maleta llena de ilusiones y la esperanza de hacer un futuro para su familia. Es así como con fuerza y dedicación lograron muchas de sus metas, construyendo un hogar para sus hijos. No todo fue fácil en el camino. Hubo buenos y malos momentos, pero con cada caída nos levantamos más fuertes y unidos. Rogelio fue un muy amigable. Muchas tardes tenía una sonrisa mientras cocinaba carnitas, birria y mishiotes, ya que esas eran algunas de las cosas que sus amigos pedirían para sus eventos. Disfrutaba viendo a sus amigos saborear su comidas. Era un gran trabajador. Trabajó muchos años con Bob Borsman y otros transportando productos agricolas. Con el tiempo hizo amigos muy cercanos. En 2017 le diagnosticaron cáncer. Era un guerrero fuerte rodeado de familia y amigos. Fue una dura batalla que perdió el 15 de diciembre de 2020. La familia quisiera agradecer a todos los que brindaron apoyo y cariño. Rogelio Nava Salgado passed away December 14, 2020 surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born March 19, 1968 in Guerrero Mexico. He was the second child to three children born to Isac Nava and Kirina Salgado. He leaves his life partner, 7 children and 7 grandchildren. Rogelio met Angelica Velazco in March of 1990. After 15 days of dating they decided to live together. They had 4 children, one son and 3 beautiful daughters. They moved to this country in June 17, 1996. Arriving in Othello March 1, 1997 with absolutely nothing except a suitcase full of illusions and hope to make a future for their family. That is how with strength and dedication they reached many of their goals, building a home for the children. Not everything was easy. There were good and bad moments, but with every fall they raised up stronger and united. Rogelio was very friendly. Many evenings he had a smile as he cooked carnitas, birria, and mishiotes, as those were some of the things his friends would request for their events. He enjoyed watching his friends savor his food. He was a hard worker. He worked many years with Bob Borsman and others transporting produce. With time he made very close friends. In 2017 he was diagnosed with cancer. He was a strong warrior surrounded by family and friends. It was a tough battle he lost on December 15, 2020. The family would like to thank everyone who has giving support and love.
