Obituary of Maria Esther Reyes

Maria Esther passed away on January 8th, 2021 at the age of 84. Maria Esther was born to parents; Rafael & Maria Perez, in 1936 in Coahuila, Mexico. She was married to Ramon Reyes Paredes in 1948, and they shared 71 years of marriage and 10 children together. They were blessed with so many grandchildren (26), great grandchildren (35) and even great-great grandchildren (7). While Maria did work in her early years, the majority of her time was spent as a homemaker. She not only cared for her children but she was also an important figure in her grandchildren’s lives. Grandmas house was the pillar of the family. She was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses South Congregation, spreading the good news for as long as she was able to go out on service. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and attending church events. She will be extremely missed by those who loved and knew her. Maria Esther is survived by her children; Selma Elsa (Ramiro) Montejano of Othello, WA, Juan Armando Reyes of Othello, WA, Antonio Javier (Nora) Reyes of Prosser, WA & Maria Luisa (Ray) Flippins of Kimberly, ID; and daughter-in-law Adriana (Ramon Jr.) Reyes of Twin Falls, ID. She is preceded in death by her husband: Ramon Reyes Paredes; her sons; Lazaro Reyes, Gerardo Reyes, Ramon Reyes Jr., and daughters; Antonia Reyes and Sonia Y. Ortiz.
