Obituary of Jose Felix Alvarado

Jose Felix Alvarado embraced life with a passion and was devoted to his family and friends. Often smiling, laughing, and giving special hugs, which were better than anything in the world is how Felix will be remembered. His family knew him as loving, thoughtful, and devoted. He showed you that you could be the rainbow in someone else’s cloud. His friends knew him as jovial, spirited, and caring. He was a true friend who loved you, simply for being you. Felix cultivated loving kindness in his life and practiced empathy and used that empathy to connect to people in meaningful ways, which made him the rainbow in people’s lives. Felix graduated from Othello High School in 1987 and attended Eastern Washington University. He was an army specialist in the U.S. Army and served in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” Device and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Two Bronze Service Stars. Jose Felix Alvarado was born April 09, 1969 and went to his heavenly home on December 20, 2021. He leaves behind his sons, Anthony and R.J., parents, Ramiro Sr. and Berta; sister, Patricia Reed, brother, Ramiro, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew and countless friends who love him more than words can possibly express. Felix was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose Felix and Maria Dolores Alvarado, maternal grandparents, Rafael and Raquel Ramirez, and his uncle, Jose Luis Ramirez.
