Obituary of Charles Mark Perigo

On the evening of Saturday, February 12, 2022, Charles “Chuck” Mark Perigo passed away in Kennewick WA at the age of 65. Chuck was born in Tacoma, WA in the spring of 1956. He spent most of his life in Washington State. Although he called the PNW home, he was an avid traveler, visiting many countries and several continents. His favorite place to visit often was Thailand. Aside from travel, he enjoyed several hobbies and always loved to try new things. He was a talented builder and loved to tinker and was especially fond of using his 3D printers. Ever the perfectionist, he was a master welder who could fabricate intricate works of art or the sturdiest gate. He could, without a doubt, fix or build anything.  In his earlier days, he was a farmer, something he loved to do that gave him a lot of peace and sense of accomplishment. He was proud to work for Jim Barker of Barker Farms in Connell, Washington where he worked and raised his family for several years. Chuck was always a sentimental guy who cherished time with his loved ones, cooking fun meals and pulling playful pranks! He enjoyed long drives to enjoy the scenery and quick trips to the “store” that we lovingly nicknamed “a Chuck hour” because they were anything but quick and far exceeded an hour. His gifts were always meaningful if not practical but always just what you needed, and he always said every person should have a good flashlight and a nice set of tools!  Of all his adventures and accomplishments in life, he was most happy and proud when he was with his children and grandchildren. All whom he loved very much and would talk about often. Chuck was preceded in death by his father DeAlton Paul Perigo and granddaughter Hannah, and survived by his mother Bonnie Jean Cogswell; his eldest daughter Christyne Perigo, and grandson Nathan; his daughter Adrianne Eldridge, and her husband Mike Eldridge, grandkids Mackenzie, Jaden, Arilynn, Destin, Peyton and Ella; Alyssa, husband Omar, Mike Jr., wife Hannah,  great grandchildren Zaylee, Kallie, Ollie, Kinslee; Bradley, wife Caycee and great granddaughter Hazel; his daughter Carly Perigo, and her partner Neil Porte; his daughter Nichole Cassidy, and her husband Mike Cassidy, grandchildren Patrick and Ophelia; his daughter Shafiea Rupp, and her husband Matt Rupp, and granddaughter Aria; and his son Chas Perigo, and grandchildren Deklan and Rori.  In Chuck’s honor we will be hosting a celebration of life on May 14, 2022.
