Obituary of Marciano Torres-Trujillo

Please share a memory of Marciano to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marciano Torres Trujillo also known as "Chano". Chano bid his last farewell on the early morning of Oct 16,2023 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He leaves behind his wife, children, and grandchildren. Chano spent his days driving around in his truck "running errands" occasionally pulling over on the side of the road to pick up some random lost treasure. He once found a pair of size 11 wakeboarding boots (still in the box) and he very excitedly brought them home. To this day we still don't know what ever happened to them. Following his treasure hunts he would make his usual stop at Bobs Korner for some JoJo’s and a Large Powerade and then off to Dr. Bunches home he went. He truly took pride and joy in maintaining that lawn and keeping it to perfection. During the Holiday season we always loved to go out there and watch him put up all the Christmas lights and we often looked forward to coming back during the night to see his work in full display. Going to work with him for a day was always an adventure. In his last years of life, Chano battled with NAFLD. He fought hard to stay for his wife and children but ultimately succumbed to his illness. Although he would never let on to just how severe his illness was by how active he was. unbeknownst to any of us, (he knew we wouldn't agree) he even went to the local dump a few days prior to his passing to clean out his truck so we wouldn't have to do it later. If that isn't a testimony to who he was, A strong, hardworking man with a heart of gold. Then I don’t know what is. Chano was a man so deeply loved by his family and his community. He was a man who greeted all with a smile, a hand to help, and warmth that filled every heart that had the privilege to know him. He was a man of faith who strived to honor God with his life. Chano made an enormous impact on many lives; he leaves behind a legacy of love and service. He will be deeply missed by many; we invite you to join us as we remember the man that he was and lay him in his final resting place.
