Angel De Leon Gomez, age 83, of Othello WA passed away August 2, 2024 Kadlec Hospital in Richland, WA at 2:45 p.m. He was born in San Benito, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on May 4, 1941 to Hilario De Leon Valdez and Anastacia Gomez Moreno. He was married to Olga Estela Garza Gonzalez on March 5, 1961. He was a member of the Assemblies of God and had a great passion for his family, children and committed to serving and giving to God’s ministry.
He is survived by his children Adolfo (Maria) De León, Diana (Cornelio) Valdez, Amando (Beatrice) De León, Norma (Adam) Juarez, Ma. Leticia (Porfirio) Luna, Larry (Nadia) De León, Ángel (Perla) De León, Adrián (Tina) De León, 2 sisters (Agustina De Leon, Noelia Moreno) and 2 brothers (Saul De Leon, Javier De Leon). Angel also leaves 38 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren to cherish in memory and continue his Legacy. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers; Rafael De Leon and Nicanor De Leon.
The De León-Garza family would like to thank everyone for their encouraging words, support and prayers. We thank God for blessing us with 83 wonderful years with our father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
