Our deepest sympathies reach across the miles to Nancy's family. We got news of her passing today at our current home in Clarkston, Washington when we opened a letter from Buster Harper (Connell, retired teacher). It included the obituary printed in the Franklin County Graphic(?). What a great picture of her--she had not changed from the girl I remember at Connell High School when she was in my physical education classes and I coached her in volleyball and softball. Oddly enough, I thought of Nancy just a few days ago when I was remembering all of the years that I coached softball at CHS. During her years it was fast pitch and no team could beat the Eagles when we had a farm girl who could pitch lightening fast strikes past their slow bats. And her powerful serve in volleyball was awesome as well. Teachers do not forget students who impress us with their smiles, kind personalities, strong friendships with other students, athletic ability and hard work. We are sorry for your loss and wish you peace in your hearts. Sincerely, Sharon and Dave Mudra (Connell High School 1967 to 1993 and 1996)
